From what I’ve read on here it sounds like he learned the Porsche halo model sales tactics.
Main difference being whilst the £10k Porsche watch you are forced to buy for getting the privilege of a certain Porsche GT allocation is only worth around £200 your car value will have increased by around £150k once you take delivery so you won't lose much sleep over your abysmal net tax free profit of £140200.RD-1 said:
I’d be pissed too, but doubt there is anything legally that can be done (although it is the US).
I doubt the SAs would’ve known they were going to lose it, so you can’t really blame them?
Give over - the company knew so they should have stopped it happening. It's arguably illegal even in the UK.I doubt the SAs would’ve known they were going to lose it, so you can’t really blame them?
I'll be amazed if they don't get absolutely reamed in a US Court.

Not sure what your point is - £10k Porsche watch? My point is - it’s well known you have to be a repeat customer - ie buy or lease multiple cars to be able to get one of the halo cars, you might or might not be able to profit on the run of the mill cars after servicing/depreciation and finance costs but you still have have bought other things you don’t want to get what you do want.
It was an observation of the selling practice, either way I’m not fussed as I can’t afford a Patek or a Porsche

And you might scratch a watch but you can crash a car

It seems clear to me that what he is describing is fraud (or something similar), but why should he be owed more than double what he actually spent?
They do punitive damages in America. > He is seeking at least $500,000 in damages.

Are Pateks like Rolex and increase hugely in value when you get them? So that $109k watch he didn't get to buy maybe worth $220k once you get it? > He is seeking at least $500,000 in damages.
