Watch Servicing
Discussion
Hi All,
Can anyone recommend any tried and tested watch servicing places (pref in London) for an Omega Seamaster (automatic) which seems to have developed an issue?
I've emailed a few places that have come up on google for quotes which so far vary quite a lot, but always prefer to hear "real" people's feedback and judging from posts here, the forum contains more than a few fellow watch nuts which is a good place to start.
Many thanks!
David

Had my Speedmaster serviced 2/3 times over last 12 years. Two other members of family also had servicing done.
Prices are on site but you can ring him or email. Customer service excellent.

An old thread but I dug it out when looking for a service for my Omega Speedmaster Chronograph. Fantastic service and excellent communication - back within 3 weeks and less than half the price quoted by Omega (who also quoted 6 months plus). Highly recommended. Thanks, everyone, for the replies.
In the end, I went with https://www.watchrepairuk.com/
Good reviews and they seem professional in all comms so far.
Waiting for the watch back in approximately a fortnight, so will report back!

Just out of interest for those who had theirs serviced recently, what was a ball park figure?
Just inherited my fathers seamaster as he passed away over xmas. It loses a little time daily and I'm almost willing to bet its not been serviced since 2006 when it was made as my grandad got it for his 80th then my dad got it when my grandad passed.

£285+VAT at WRUK (also for a Seamaster [Aqua Terra]).Just inherited my fathers seamaster as he passed away over xmas. Was quoted over £900 by a guy in London.
That said, haven't had the watch back yet, so fingers crossed all good when it does arrive.

Omega back from WRUK today by Royal Mail Special Delivery. All seems excellent on first glance, a couple of the issues pre-service are definitely solved, watch spotlessly clean. Will be interested tomorrow to see how much time it's lost/gained in 24 hours. Was quoted over £900 by a guy in London.

So far, very happy with the service.
