Watchfinder 'spot the fake' game
Discussion
If you value your sanity, don't play the https://spotthefake.watchfinder.co.uk/ game.
I'll tell you why ... at some point you'll get to an image of an IWC Mark XVIII. Looks pretty good but the tells are, apparently, "The hand setting – it’s not responsive, feels a little ‘loose’ and there is too much movement in the crown. The engraving on a genuine case back will be stamped and not laser finished. A laser will leave behind lots of little dots."
IT'S A f

That was pointless.
But as someone who wears a Hulk from time to time, have noticed a lot more people wearing them recently. I mentioned it to one guy, 'Nice watch!'. 'Yeah it's a fake!'. 'Oh' I said, 'yeah mine too!'.
I actually think it's a good thing if more people wear fakes. Less chance of getting mine nicked

He might have just been saying that though. If I owned an expensive watch and somebody unknown commented on it I would have said exactly the same thing. But as someone who wears a Hulk from time to time, have noticed a lot more people wearing them recently. Yeah I'd probably say it too, and there are definitely a lot more indistinguishable fakes out there now which make it all the more believable!BIRMA said:
I got 7 out of 11. Having watched a few Youtube videos on fake watches it just goes to show how near they are getting.
I've a nice collection of real watches and wouldn't buy a replica as most of the watches I desire aren't made as replicas.
I got 7 out of 11 by just clicking Fake every time. I've a nice collection of real watches and wouldn't buy a replica as most of the watches I desire aren't made as replicas.

This the the next watch I have my eye on, no chance of a replica I guess but as I said I don't think I'd buy the replica anyway
