Seiko Speedtimers (SSC911, 813 etc)

I don't have one but quite like the look of them. Was eyeing one up for potential posh beater territory but bit pricey for that really!
Lack of on-the-fly adjustment on the strap would put me off a bit, not sure if I have unusually variable sized wrists but find that a very useful feature.

I would probably change the strap for a leather one anyway, or a steel Uncle one.Lack of on-the-fly adjustment on the strap would put me off a bit, not sure if I have unusually variable sized wrists but find that a very useful feature.
I’ve got the SSC813P1 Seikona and for the money I think it’s brilliant.
I bought mine before the slightly bigger versions came out and whilst 39mm is smaller than I usually wear, it’s fine and I prefer the colour scheme to the nearest equivalent 41mm version as per the OP.
The SSC935P1 is probably my favourite now.

I really like the 935 too, I'm assuming it's just the 911 with a light blue dial right?I bought mine before the slightly bigger versions came out and whilst 39mm is smaller than I usually wear, it’s fine and I prefer the colour scheme to the nearest equivalent 41mm version as per the OP.

It looks great, I'd have to see it in the flesh to choose between the blue and the white.

This is mine and I think it’s great. I wear it more than any other watch I have and am now thinking of getting the silver faced one to go with it. Feels good quality, looks good and not too pricey to be that precious about.

That looks great too. I wonder if they'll ever do a yellow dialed version? A new Pogue.
I bought a Night Series edition - SSC917 - because while I like the look of the panda dial versions, I have a different Seiko panda and the hands are hard to see at a glance against the face meaning it's not very good for telling the time. And I wanted a black watch after seeing a client's Blaken modded Rolex.
The watch itself is lovely, but the bracelet is typical Seiko: not that great. And I've struggled to find a decent strap to go with it. The watch head itself is slightly thicker and heavier than I'd expected from a quartz. The ceramic bezel is nicely finished and the size (it's the 39mm version) is really appealing.
On the positives, the black with green lume is really distinctive and easy to read. I don't think photos or Youtube videos do it justice; the green lumed hands and indices stand out against the black face and case while the sub-dials etc disappear a bit; they look fussy in pictures but not in the flesh.
Overall, I am happy I got the Night Series version but I think it would be easier to find a replacement strap which goes with the normal brushed steel case versions.
