Gold ladies watch

Hello.
I'm thinking of buying my better half a watch for Christmas. This is exactly the sort of aesthetic she would like:

Plain, white dial; yellow gold, round case (she doesn't like square, rectangular or oval watches); thin and small (certainly sub 30mm); black leather strap.
She wouldn't mind vintage, but it would be for daily wear and I'm concerned about a thirty year old dress watches robustness for that use. I also think she'd get quickly fed up of the need to wind it daily, so an automatic or even quartz would be preferable. She wouldn't be particularly fussed about the brand name or prestige, or what the movement is, but I like the idea of getting something like a Rolex or a Cartier (which has some watches of a similar aesthetic).
Anyone got any views on whether a vintage watch of that era is a good idea for daily use, or any suggestions of any modern new watches that fit that aesthetic and aren't mega money?

Your link is to a 38mm watch but I guess they also make one with a smaller case.
The PP Calatrava looks lovely as well.
The PP, Blancpain and Rolex are all solid gold cases which obviously impacts the cost.

Ah, I just realized it's 38mm. She just tried my 40mm GS on and said yeah it probably works - I thought it would be too big, she is pretty small. They do a 24mm version. It's also yellow gold, which is what she wanted, rather than rose. Your link is to a 38mm watch but I guess they also make one with a smaller case.

I also didn't actually notice it was plated rather than solid gold, which obviously accounts for the cost difference. She doesn't seem that fussed though ...
I like the PPs, she says again too bulky - which is just as well, as they're more expensive haha. Seems her key priority is a very slim bezel.
I personally much prefer the PP / Rolex / BP to the Longines, which I think is a bit boring, but you can't account for taste.
