I was in a meeting today, and one of the participants was a chap who was wearing what appeared to be a fairly plain looking 38mm dress watch, silver/stainless in colour, with brown leather strap. White/Cream colour dial. Silver hour marker batons. Quite a slim case profile.

I had no idea what it was, but from across the table it appeared to look a bit like a JLC logo, or similar.

The strange thing that I did notice, was that it ticked every 5 seconds. The second hand jumped from hour marker to hour marker, every 5 seconds.

Any idea what it was?

The battery was running out. Several brands do this when it's time to change the battery.

My 30yr old Breitling Colt does this when battery is getting flat.
