Changing bracelet on an Omega Aqua Terra
Discussion
Evening all,
I recently purchased a 39mm Aqua Terra. It’s a lovely watch, but the bracelet doesn’t have an on the fly micro adjustment so I’d like to swap the bracelet.
I love the Oyster bracelet on my Air King so thought maybe something like that.
Can you fit any bracelet to any watch or is it model specific? Can anyone recommend where I can buy a new bracelet for my watch?
Pic of my watch:

I noticed that current Aqua Terras come on an Oyster style bracelet (below) but I can’t see any for sale via the Omega site.

Thanks for reading!

It’s nearly that easy to do as you’re suggesting. The two key factors (apart from looks) are the width of the bracelet at the lugs and whether the bracelet end links will match the shape of the watch case.
Anyway, you’re in luck: Uncle Seiko makes a replacement bracelet for the AT that has micro adjust. More here: https://unclestraps.com/en-gb/products/us1479-brac...
ETA Omega may well sell you a whole new bracelet with the micro adjust clasp, but expect that to be £hundreds. They can also sell you a half link which may make the fit more accurate.
Also some people apparently go on for changing the clasp only. No idea how easy it is to get a genuine one.

I have two Grand Seikos, one with and one without micro adjust bracelets. I find inside the micro adjust when it’s there (v hot vs v cold days). The bracelet on the non-adjustable watch is never changed and fits perfectly whatever the weather- I guess I struck lucky!

Thank you. I’ve spent hours trawling the web and can’t find any bracelets to fit.
What I really need is the micro adjustment. Maybe I can change the clasp and keep the bracelet.
A ghetto option but it might just work: if you get the dimensions of the bracelet ends where the clasp attaches, could you not swap in a Chinese milled clasp from AliExpress? What I really need is the micro adjustment. Maybe I can change the clasp and keep the bracelet.
I appreciate that this is a really really lovely watch and deserves the best possible solution but desperate times call for desperate measures etc etc.

I swapped out the original clasp on my Planet Ocean (first edition) to the new clasp on the later models easy done but not cheap for a Omega one circa £240 from memory.
If it was me, that’s what I’d do: stay original and spend the £. I bought a link for my GS diver - £90 for a single link! - but I wanted to get the best out of the original bracelet and avoid 3rd party options. Omega often leave me cold, but the AT is one of my favourites of their range due to its true versatility.

All I can come up with at the moment is replacing 2x full links with 5x half links to add 2mm onto the bracelet. This will cost around £500 so a genuine clasp with adjustment would be a better and cheaper option!
