Smiths watch identification

Gained this over the weekend and I have done some research but I am struggling to find out much more other than it is circa 1950's, made in Cheltenham.
Most I have found through image search comes back with white faces, a few black but none with the "petal" pattern, its mechanical, and strap isn't original.
Anyone got a clue?
