Hi, I've got an old Lorus watch that I have sentimental attachment to but it's stainless steel strap is busted. I've looked online and can't order one for that model anymore. Is there such a thing as a 'universal' stainless steel strap for, I think a 22mm fitting. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've never fixed a watch before, usually just replace them. I want another stainless strap not leather or fabric

There are thousands to pick from. Just type "22mm watch steel bracelet" into eBay search and pick one you like. Also any high street watch shop/battery booth will have the same and will fit it for you.

Could also browse eBay, only way to keep the fitted end links.

Or if the clasp is broken you may just be able to replace that.

22mm is a really common size.

Should be easy to find a nice replacement.

AliExpress is the best place for a low cost bracelet.

Thanks for replies, I got a cheapo stainless strap and have had a new battery put into the old watch. Lifetime battery and strap adjusted from a wee fella at Timsons and I have a twenty year old Lorus my Mrs gave me working fine on my wrist. Probably spent more than the watch cost getting it back but sentiments a funny old thing isn't it!!

That all seems entirely sensible to me! All we need now is a photo of the Lorus on its new bracelet.
