"Luxury" digital watch - non Casio

A bit of a thought expirement from me.

I have a bunch of Casios which I love, but I want a different brand of digital watch now.

I don't want to buy a big fat fitness watch, so looking for something that is basically a Casio by a different name but is a bit more premium in feel.

Any thoughts?

I have a Citizen 'World Time' which I bought as a holiday watch... solar powered and radio controlled (to synchronise).

It's a clever watch and obviously hugely accurate... automatic calendar, daylight saving etc and never needs a battery.

Not 'digital' but certainly smart.

How about a Casio mod? SKX-Mod sell proper stainless steel cases for classic models from the Retro line, you'd just have to transplant the movement in.

The original digital quartz led watch was Hamilton's 'Pulsar', which cost as much as a car when released in the seventies. You can now get much cheaper copies.

Great watch - I have one of those.

There is the Tissot as originally posted, the Tag Heuer Sixty Nine, Omega Skywalker and Spacemaster and the Breitlings mentioned above.
OP - is there anything else your looking for in a watch ?

Here's a few of mine to give you some ideas.

Citizan Ana-Digi. Not luxury, but it is all metal and nicely made. I can never remember how to set the time on it.



A mechanical digital watch. Also known as a jump hour.



Vintage Bulova from the days when quartz was something to shout about. Many of the big Swiss brands released digital watches in the 70s/80s. I would be wary about spending a lot of money on a vintage LCD watch as they don't last forever and often can't be repaired without finding a doner movement.



A Seiko Spirit digital might be closest to what you want. Another cool watch, but not a pure digital is the Omega Spacemaster and Seiko "Arnie".

Was just about to post those exact two if Ana-digi were allowed, had my B1 since 2000 still wear it regularly, and always fancied the X-33 if just for the cool spacesuit box
