But,but, but, the guys a frickin' billionaire, he can't possibly need to cheapen himself by peddling tat which would embarrass Del Boy and Arthur Daley.

On second thoughts, the watch would go very nicely with his 'gold' trainers and 'gold' coins/medals/whatever.

Laughable.

The video he posted had me rolling. Absolute joke, except you know he'll sell these all.

I think it is the olivier moray movement that is used by a bunch of brands. Not Chinese AFAIK.

You're most probably correct as Trump hates Chinese goods.... But, other sites reporting it's a licensed product. Not something he had any input into ..

I don't like it, but it's not a Chinese tourbillon.

Unsurprisingly all the watch magazines (websites) like Ablogtowatch have slated these watches.

The Toubillion Movement seems to be from Olivier Moray but in turn it uses many components sourced from China.

Controversial view - I've always considered tourbillon wristwatches a bit gauche, regardless of any Trump connection.

This isn't the first time Trump has attached his name to some gaudy, overpriced timepieces. I recall he did it ages ago too, albeit he didn't have the chutzpah to charge $100k for the privilege back then, even if the watches were equally as tacky.

First time I saw this I thought it must be an easy way to wash money coming in from outside normal channels, especially if it's $100k in bitcoin.

I'm guessing most will be sold in China, Iran, the Middle East and North Korea? Plus maybe one in Hungary...
