A dogs dinner of a watch in my view.

Looks like to move away from the Nautilus they've just chopped a little bit off the sides of a Nautilus....and ended up with something closer to a Santos than anything else.

That was my first thought when I saw it. Then it made me want a Manhattan again. I was torn between that and a Studio Underdog a while back and opted for the SU.

Seems lacking in imagination to me. Nautilus look in a more angular (Santos) case and job done. Must try harder.

Thierry Stern says Patek will make fewer SS watches in future and two of the first three Cubitus have SS. That 5821 looks expensive for what it is. And I’m a PP fan!

Not very interesting. If I were to splash upwards of £35K on a Patek, it would be on something more desirable, and representing better bang for buck, than a Cubitus. And the 5822 looks a right dog's breakfast (and no 'platinum diamond'?).

I'd forgotten I'd already posted lol. Good to see that I'm consistent in my views...

I handled the Cubitus range at an AD event a few weeks back. As ever for PP, all were nicely finished. However the complicated watches were very heavy and bulky for a sports watch. The simple one was the only one of manageable size. All watches are unobtainable to mere folk....so what's the point anyway except to bloat the egos of the chosen few?

So, that day, my wallet voted for a green Aquaterra to satisfy my need for a little deal trophy.
