I'm after a good quality strap with a deployant clasp. Anyone have any recommendations other than Artem?

Also, are all sailcloth straps rubber based? (i.e. rubber with a printed weave pattern) I was assuming by the name there would be some actual 'cloth' based straps, but I can't seem to find any.

I'm assuming I can buy the relevant clasp separately, does anyone have any good recommendations on 'luxury' clasps that are as well finished as Omega et al? I don't want to spend hundreds on a branded clasp, but I do want good quality.

Take a look at Stevostraps.com

They have specific Omega replacement straps in thier "high end" range that might fit your requirements.

Just out of interest, why not Artem Straps? I have one for my Speedmaster, for which I bought an OEM buckle. Incredible quality, didn’t have that uncomfortable stiffness that other sailcloth straps I’ve tried have had. Delivery from Australia was a coulle of weeks. I appreciate I did the very opposite of what you want to do, just curious!

No reason other than them being the default, and that $362 for a rubber strap with a clasp is a lot of money for what it is. I'm not saying they are not worth it, just wondered if they had competition.
