I've got a yellow gold Day Date on which I want the bezel changed. Possibly a dial and hands too.

Does anyone know a decent repairer who would do it while I wait, or went for lunch? I am Midlands but go to London often.

Cheers.

That would be quite an involved replacement, definitely not a while you wait / head off to lunch type deal.

Firstly you will need the parts, it’s highly unlikely that anyone will have the correct parts in stock and as said above, it won’t be done while you wait over lunchtime. Definitely not if you want it done correctly.

A bezel is straightforward, isn't it?

A friend had a dial replaced by a Rolex trained chap in about ten minutes, they chatted whilst he did it. I would use the same chap, but he is in Dallas!

Thanks Bazza, I will do.

I thought I had a watchmaker lined up, who is a Rolex approved repairer with access to Rolex stock. But he is messing me about. So it appears that I will need to procure the necessary components myself. When I have got them, I will be in touch.
