Has anyone seen the new Tag F1 watches in person ?
Not bad value at 1600 for the first 2 editions, I quite like the green and steel and the green and red (Schumacher vibes). Would make a nice daily that is a bit different. Hopefully the plastic bezel doesn't look too naff mind !

Yep saw one down on Oxford Street at the weekend. I liked it, quite nostalgic. Not sure it's worth £1600 as a quartz watch but then it is now solar powered too with a 6month power reserve

I quite fancy the sandblasted blue-white for some nostalgia but I was paying £200 for brand new chronographs back in the day so I am not sure if I can justify £1600!

Old farts like me reliving their youth. I would splurge £1k for old times sake on a blue white sandblast steel....but the marketing dept have set the price point ambitiously.

I tried to give my kids my 2000 white red. They both took Apple Watches instead. Now neither wear watches.

You can have my original white/red for that money. It comes with a lot of patina which should make it worth more. I’d tell Timpsons not to polish it when changing the battery servicing it.

It is on the cusp of what i'd pay for one, especially if they do feel rather plasticy. If they were around the £1k mark I'd probably pick two up! The Blasted steel with the green bezel is set to be launched on the Silverstone F1 weekend at the beginning of July so a bit of time to get a hands-on experience of them

Still got my original one bought 30 odd years ago. Used to wear it daily for work so its showing its age a bit now but still works perfectly. I've got fairly small wrists but even so looks comically small these days. Are the new ones the same size?

So a gentle rub to clean up will be extra smile

My original one has surely increased in value with the release of these new models :-)) ? I like them, I’m hankering after a white dial watch & the new F1 looks great. I’m not convinced with the pricing though, they do seem expensive tbh. I’d have hoped for something priced at 3 figures not 4. I’ll have a proper look at them the next time I’m in Manchester & maybe temptation/nostalgia/being daft will get the better of me.

Started wearing my '1st time around' one a while ago when the 'Kith' hype started and I've found even though at 34mm it's small compared to some of the newer stuff these days it's made it into regular rotation along with a MoonSwatch which is quite small too, I certainly wear it more than my recent TAG F1 Aston Martin, which gets worn so little I really should move it on....scratchchin

Stared at one through the window of M&W the other day and... it does look 'small'... Still want one. But £1,650 price tag there... nope!
