Breitling SuperOcean Herritage - A10390361L1S1
Discussion
Good afternoon all,
My other half has seen one of these somewhere and decided that she wants one.
Can anyone recommend anywhere - preferably in the UK, where we can get one at a decent price. I’ve had a look on Chrono24 and the best deals are currently in Japan but when enquiring they say it’ll be 4/5 month for delivery which suggests that they don’t actually have the watch to sell?
Also - is it a decent watch to have? Or should it be avoided and I point her in another direction ( you are welcome to recommend me an alternative)
Thanks

There’s nothing to avoid about it, and if it has been chosen by your OH I’m guessing that that’s based on colour and size, and that a decision has already been made.
The only real inhibition is that it has an ETA 2892 movement, which I’ve found not to be as accurate as Breitling’s in house automatic movements (which in turn aren’t as accurate as their in house superquartz movements - do you want aesthetics, accuracy or moving parts though?).
I’d suggest looking at a AB2010121L1A1. It’s a darker green and uses a Tudor movement (which may possibly originate outside Tudor), but is a larger 42mm case.

Not seen that particular one you linked to originally before, but I treated myself to the dark green in a 46 a few weeks back with the rubber strap, but paid full price from WOS. Absolutely love it.

I think you can get one with a matching green bezel but only on the more expensive B31 or B01 versions.
