Hi everyone. I recently got my hands on a very rare Nite tactical watch. So rare in fact only 13 where custom built for the metropolitan police for " operation Orochi" the law enforcement team for drug lines throughout the UK. I knew nothing about the watch, but got a response from their managing director. Who informed me I had no 3 of the custom made watch. Which is all black anodised, with a unique 7 headed serpent engraved on the dial and caseback. I have the name of the officer who it was made for, and instead of a serial no it has the officers unique police no engraved.

Well actually it isn't, because I have the item they made, and the managing directors input, not just some bod in a chat room. This was made specifically for an elite police tactical unit, as a one off run of 13. They virtually never come on to the secondary market ever, and are usually kept within the force memorabilia sites. I even have the guy it was made for unit no engraved on it. That in itself is extremely rare and unique. So no it isn't marketing bullst as you call it, you have no idea what your on about.

Unfortunately SD is basically right. Many watch manufacturers offer a bespoke watch program for groups, clubs, companies, and military units looking to create unique, custom-designed timepieces. They also release limited and special edition watches as part of their standard collections. They are standard watches that are customised with a crest and some engraving. Apols for the tacky analogy but it's like a hot hatch with and aftermarket body kit. As said above some pics would be nice as I'm sure it is a lovely piece that you will really enjoy wearing. Just don't use it as a prop to do some "Walter Mittying"
