I purchased a Seiko watch with solar battery a couple of weeks back. The Lumibrite is very underwhelming in the dark & I don't really want to expose the watch to overheating on a sunny windowsill!
All my house lights are LED so have no effect.
Is there a small UV lamp or similar that someone can recommend??

You can charge up the lume in the sun in just a few seconds.

Currently wearing a Seiko SK009, it responds to a quick blast under a bright flashlight, usually a 6D-cell Maglite - keeps it nice and bright for the night.

I purchased a cheap Cree torch from eBay for a few quid which has switchable ultra violet and regular led , the UV charges the lumibrite on my cheap lorus field watch in a few seconds, as does the led.

This one;
