Subdial uses FedEx but requires you to video you packing the watch into box and sealing it for insurance purposes. Not sure if FedEx actually insures it or if Subdial use a separate insurance company.
I just received a watch from Subdial and it was sent via DHL so maybe they use both. From my experience of shipping expensive watches, it is a combination of whatever courier plus separate insurance via Secursus. Make sure you follow all of the Secursus packing/documentation rules so there's no issue in event of a claim!

Not wishing to be a dick, but wouldn't the place you are sending it to be able to suggest the courier that they use to return the items to their customers (assuming they deal with similar value items regularly).
Not a dick at all, i did this and they use toyal mail and deal with the £2.5k maximum Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
