i am looking for a suble watch for everyday use. Have come across the following model Maurice Lacroix Pontos Grand-guichet with brown belt.

retails for £1495. Just a few questions . What is this brand like? where does it lie in the scale of things. Secondly, would any discount be possible with high street shops...and finally..can anyone recommend any similar watches up to £2K, I am looking for a simple design, leather strap

Meant to be good watches, but not in the upper echelons. On a par with Tag I suppose, but I wouldn't put them alongside JLC, IWC, PP etc
