Haven't been on here for a while, so thought I would have a catch up now...
I thought I would just warn some of you to be very careful when buying off ebay. I know there are good and bad sellers (and buyers)on there, and a lot of the stuff is great. However, at this time of year there are also more scammers than usual. A mate of mine bought a D&G watch, off (what looked like)a legitimate seller, for his g/f for her birthday and it looked great. A couple of weeks and the thing broke. Feedback had already been left and the seller refused to refund. My mate took it to a jewellers and guess what?...the watch is a cheap fake!

I've sent info to Ebay time and again about scam adverts for what are patently fakes but they don't give a damn. The items aren't removed and people get stung, particularly, as you say, around this time of year.

As I said before, there are some good ebayers but I have done the same as you, reported people and nothing gets done. And once feedback has been left there appears to be bu***r all you can do about it.

Here, for example, is a "perfectly genuine" Rolex two tone Sub, worn twice, an "unwanted gift" which after being worn the said exhorbitant number of times, no longer works and for which a service will cost just £40. Look into his feedback and you find more of the same - fake Prada shoes that time.

ebay, the undisputed king of fake and hot watches. Hardly surprising. Personally I wouldn't consider buying a quality watch from ebay unless the seller was a proven reputable dealer. I wouldn't go on feedback rating either, since most people leave feedback based on a quick and efficient delivery before they realise they've actually been ripped off.

Ebay wont stope people selling the fakes as it earns them money, I have a great Supplier for both D&G and Armani. However when coming to sell on Ebay people presume they are fake and dont buy or ask for a lower price as they can get a similiar (fake) for cheaper.
