Hi As title says I need my Rolex serviced as it's started to go slightly slow. I have never had it seviced before (8 years old). Its a GMT master so how much for a polish and service. And any recommendations in Scotland to carry out the work.

Thanks in advance.

Just got my submariner back, £530.

Had to have a service £250, oscillating weight £65 and a new dial £215. They also recommended a new bracelet at around £850 but I refused to pay it yet, still plenty of life in the old dog yet.

Best advice I can give is to have a good look at your watch before you send it off. Rolex will try to sell you stuff that you may not necessarily require yet.

With the money I saved by not replacing the bracelet, I bought another watch (Tag) to wear sometimes to legthen the life of the bracelet.

Take it into your nearest offical high street Rolex dealer, they will send it to the Rolex service centre anyway, or they should do.
