I dont know , but what I do know is for £65 you could buy a hell of a lot of batteries and they would last you a lifetime 10 times over!!!! ;-)

First battery in mine lasted 5 years and got told on replacement that the new one should last about 3 years.
Two and a half years on first replacement and it's still going strong.

Replacement cost was £30 though. £65 seems steep!

If only it was that simple!!!
Well I think it is simple. they rip you off!!!

A battery costs around 20pence and a replacement gasket the same. How long does a pressure test take and cost? If they actually do it.

Just had my 3rd battery fitted in 9 years of ownership. I also had a "full Service" done at the same time, cost £150 (including the battery change) eek

Its kept perfect time since the service.

Had mine 11 years and had the battery replaced twice, they seem to last 4 - 5 years. Last change about 18 months ago cost me £40. Never had it serviced, only would if it lost accuracy.
