looking to buy,found an 05 model,45mm orange bezel orange strap,with spare original black rubber strap,well looked after no marks at all,all boxes papers etc...
looks very nice,gone from a seamaster 42mm quartz
when is the service time on these,5 yers? cost of service?

Wearing my 45mm PO now, I love it.

They do scratch easily though. Bar that, great watch.

I went for Black bezel, and orange 6,9,12

An authorised dealer recommended that the PO be serviced every two years at a cost of around £200. Lovely watch.

I thought the whole point of the co-axial movement in the PO was to cut down on servicing requirements?

I think the AD who says service every two years was having your leg over!!

Spot on Stitch. The Co-axial's are also sold with a 3 year Omega warranty.....

Generally, an automatic watch would require servicing at 5 year intervals.

My advice is buy one. I've had mine for 18 months now. Bought it in Barbados and love it to bits. It just feels right and(with apologies to all Rolex and Breitling lovers) feels like a watch and not a piece of bling;)

I still think it looks quite bling, its has the polished finish down the side
