Chanel J12 Watch For Wife
Discussion
The wife sprung on me the other day that she would like to get a Chanel J12
It made me want to cry as she has a ladies Rolex Yachtmaster thats less than a year old .......
Now I dont really mind, but are the Chanel watches worthy of there prices ?? Are they well built?? Im not expecting it to keep its value, but would like it to be reliable and strong.
The woman in Goldsmiths made me laugh when she said that the movement was the same as her Yachtmaster ........
Anyone know where I can get a deal on one ???

If it's any consolation, my Mrs has a steel/plat Yachtmaster. A couple of years ago, I took a black quartz J12 in p/x which was very shortly requisitioned by 'er indoors. I thought the same as you about it, but to date it has not missed a beat. Because it is ceramic there is not a mark on it, it looks as good as the day I bought it.
Is it reliable and strong? Sure, it's been great.
Are they well built? Very.
Is it worth its price? If it's well made, does the job, your wife wants one and you aren't going to sell it. Then, yes it's worth it.
Hope this helps....
