I was recommended to get a Hadley Roma strap from these people. They ship from the States but got my strap inside a week of ordering and find it much more comfortable than the one I replaced.

I have two by him with a third about to be ordered. He will pretty much do what you want in terms of stitching and they usually tip up in about a week. Not bad considering he makes them to order...
