Removing links from a steel bracelet
Discussion
Take the £10 hit, but watch them doing it so's there's no damage.... Well known jeweller in Aberdeen, not a million miles from Union bridge, butchered an Omega bracelet of mine on a brand new £1650 watch then denied all responsibilty. Was done in a back room and I couldn't see what was happening - though I heard the banging.

I offered to pay, but they were having non of it.
I'm assuming you bought your watch from them? They quoted me £10 this morning.....I offered to pay, but they were having non of it.

But it's too big so I can't wear it at the moment
Both the shops I tried this morning wanted £10 for the privilege
Is there a way I can do this at home? If so, using what?
