I just wondered - are you like me, got carried away and bought one for the fun and now it languishes in the drawer while you return to the old faithful? Yet I'm still tempted to buy more of them. Please cure this illness!

Wearing my Red 5 today as it happens and yesterday I was wearing my Tauchmeister (also available from Werners though I got it from ebay)! They've made my Lotus Design Type 1 watch redundant (for now....)

I wear my R7 ( I think that's what it is) about 3 or 4 days a week, but alternate with my renaul sport and g-shock watches. Still think it's the puppy's plums.

Sadly, my Tauchmeister (Not a werner's purchase) is sat on the table with the crown well and truly buggered!!! SHamr really cos that was shaping up to be my daily watch.

On that note, anybody know if the crown can be either re-threaded or replaced easily/cheaply?

Cheers,

CP

I save my Tri-phase for special occasions because I like it looking pristine. Got a G-shock for breaking stuff with.

Got a pic of the Red 5 on your wrist? It's the black one isn't it?

No, my purchase is sat in its box gathering dust. Wore it once or twice, but only bought it to satisfy my craving as I hadn't bought any watches for 6 months at the time and was starting to get withdrawal symptoms!

I wear mine every day. Doesn't appear to be on the site anymore or I'd post a link.

It's been faultless, btw.

Google the exact name. The page is still there but it's not linked to.

Worn my Tri-phase four times now - only intended as an occasional watch.
And still love it!

nope, i bought two

one of these

and something like this but cheaper and with a red half moon round the outside showing the date..

Wore the chrono about two times, and it was so light and dainty i didnt like the look of it on, and the white faced one I wore once - very 'slight' watch and the date set button wasnt locked to the date marker moved round about 9 days when I wore it for an hour.

Back to the seamaster and panerai for me....

No never.

I cannot get on with the lack of weight and the glass / crystal? that has a magnifying effect. It doesn't appear to have any AR coating, I was dissapointed, the photo's looked better than the real thing. It's a bit too small too, mines an R5 Chrono if anyone wants it let me know.

Yep, still love mine. I have 3 day watches (2 from Werners) and I alternate between them all every week.

I do have a soft spot for my S4 Luz with 3-4 days per week:

The old Night Fighter still gets out 1-2 days each week:

edited to say: I can not believe you have bought Werners up again. Now that I have gone back to the site I am tempted once again!

That's the exact one. Offers accepted, as new boxed.

The T3SL Nightfighter gets regular day wear.

The Time Recorder is an occasional evening watch.

Yeah, nothing wrong with it as such, fine for the money but kind of just bought it on impulse rather than desire.
