Saw this watch in a market in Azerbaijan, it was cheap (around 30 pounds) and unusual in that it is a 24hr watch.

I don't know anything about the watch so any information would be appreciated.

Edited to add, I have been told by a Russian guy I work with that the make is Raketa, which means rocket, so I can maybe find out some info on it with a websearch.

I have done a little websearching and found out it is a Raketa Battleplane IL2 (flying tank)

I think I paid about the same price as I could have got it for back in UK, so no bargain but an unusual piece all the same.

Ah. It's a 24 hour watch, too. Always wondered how quickly you'd get used to it.
