2 IWC's but no JLC's - surely the Reverso deserves a place?

Overall impression is either kids toys, or waaaaay too much bling.

The Georg Jensen was v. nice though.

7.

Seems to be a list put together by someone with not much clue about watches.

Surely if your putting together a list of the 50 "best" watches you would have the Omega Speedy Pro in there somewhere? JLC as previously mentioned? Urwerk?

No, instead we get overpriced "fashion" watches from the likes of Paul Smith.

Despite a couple of nice ones (which I think were probably just lucky accidents) the list is utter Tosh IMHO

Whats with the Emporio Armarni at number 39 in the list. Looks like a wanna-be tourbillon, but only £325!

A fairly awful list that doesn't contain anything I'd like with the possible exception of the IWC Aquatimer. The proper watches seem to have been selected by picking out the most expensive ones in the catalogue. The rest are just ghastly fashion-tat.

Armani watches? Just say NO.

Is this one of those lists made up of their advertisers?

+1

Seems that most of those watches are available from the same website. they even have a random TokyoFlash bar code watch, but list the stockist as a London place (who happens to stock most others on the list).

Utter Tosh (Although I think I've said that already hehe )

I haven't looked, but the list probably has a lot more to do with which watch houses has the most pro-active PR agency representing them, than anything else.....

... which just happens to be the latest "special edition" of a classic watch. The "special" edition that happens to be in the latest press releases.

I still say the person who put that together wears something like a Ben Sherman watch and claims to be an "expert" wink

I liked the comment about having to be brave to wear the Paul Smith pink dial watch.

He was right, but for the wrong reasons!

Can only echo the sentiments above. A lot of p1sh in there.
It's probably very wrong, but I quite like that marc jacobs skull effort.

I think you hit the nail on the head !!!!

Seen lots of these lists and they really do not do the watch world any justice.
