I was taking a quick, cold walk down Bond St in central London this afternoon, when I stopped at Marcus. The window display included pieces from Audemars, Piaget, Hublot, Greubel Forsey, Franck Muller and Alain Silberstein amognst others. A quick count confirmed there were no less than 13 Tourbillon in the window. In prime position was this fantastic Girard Perregaux 1945 'Slot-Machine' Toubillon....

If you have to ask the price.....

Does not the fact that they are in a window display as opposed to on someone's risk not indicate something? Gash watch btw - IMHO ofcourse!

That is the most overblown gauche thing I've ever seen. Who in their right mind would wear that?

Me too, it'd go great with a nice pair of 'Tuscan sunset' cords I picked up at Ralph Lauren. whistle
Over the top? Sure, but great fun.

Feh, the entire product range of Graham says "that's not THE most overblown, gauche thing ever".

If you have to ask the price.....

Well, curiosity got the better of me and I could only find one place on the net that has the price listed, RRP $625,000.00 , that on today's exchange is £ 410,000.00 give or take £1k.

The price of a very nice house anywhere in the UK and I am sure with the house market as it is you could probably get the vendor to throw in a Slot Machine aswel if you wanted one so much.

I am hardly surprised it is in the window, doubt it very much that many of these will see a wrist, pug ugly and at £410k an even uglier price tag.
