Broken Tag Heur?
Discussion
Just noticed that the second hand on my 18 month old Auquaracer is advancing by 3 seconds at a time. Hors and minutes are spot on though.
Is it bust or is it telling me I need a new battery by any chance?
Would have thought battery would last longer than 18 months TBH.
My old Seiko that I have just retrieved from under a plie of socks(clean, in a draw...) is still keeping perfect time and that battery must be at least 4 years old.
Any ideas?
How much are batteries for it likely to be?
Thanks,
Andy

Depends if you want it resealed/pressure tested so that it's still water resistant,Is it bust or is it telling me I need a new battery by any chance?

It probably is a screwback case, so you should be able to get it done at a high street jeweller if you just want the battery. Should be around £5-10 ( some places won't change batteries on tag's omegas etc ) but they won't be able to guarantee that it'll be water resistant
Best place ( probably cheaper that tag! ) would be an independent jeweller who does repairs - they should have the equipment to reseal it all, without having to send it away
