I know its not watch related but thought i would have a crack anyway in here.

I want to present my best man with a silver spanner , i have searched but cannot find any , so the other option is to have a snap on spanner silver plated , does any one know of someone who can carry this out and would i be better getting it engraved before or after the plating.

Thanks

Perhaps you'll have more luck looking for a "silver wrench"?

They are all charm pendants , what i actually require is a proper full size spanner

If you look on ebay, i remember that snap-on made some special editions quite recently and these included some plated in gold or silver (the latter im not sure about).

Yep, Snap on have done loads of limited edition gold plated tool sets.

You'd be best to find a decent plain spanner, and bring it to a jewelers who will organise the plating and engraving.

You can get some pretty big spanners too, as in massive display style for 3 inch nuts
