What watches do you aim to obtain by COP 31st Dec 2009? Let's say a handful of realistic choices, and one for if you win the lottery.

I have a small list. If I get just one of these, I'll be content.

I seem to have a thing for white faces (and, by sheer coincidence, Omegas) at the moment.

First, there's the Dornblüth 99.0, stainless steel, white face, blue hands, black dial print:

Secondly, how about an Omega Seamaster GMT?

Or a Speedmaster Broad Arrow?

The windfall watch is the Jaeger LeCoultre Squadra Hometime:

Yep, this one. Sadly, the 99.0 doesn't appear to come with the sublime raised silver number print. Otherwise, I'll have in just the way you described, Sir.

The damn annoyance is, this is realistic by the end of the year, so by that logic, in 3 years time, if I save all my sheckles, how about my 'realist' grail piece?

JLC Master Compressor Geographic?

It really is. Much to my amazement, it's more beautiful in the flesh than in any picture.

All for the not completely outrageous price of $7.5k Knocks the socks off anything you can buy for similar money - all in my humble opinion...

Zenith Class Sport, silver dial, auto:

Zenith Class Sport, black dial, handwound:

And yes, you are right that is two almost identical watches ...

Anonimo Milimetri Yellow dial:

And if the lottery win comes in, JLC Reverso Grande GMT:

One of these. Both if the year goes well, so get buying T-shirts and stickers, and start clicking on some ads...

If the numbers came up then I think I'd descend into a considered frenzy of watch and old porsche buying, but if I had to narrow it down to one, then it might have to start here (note the dial):

but I would fairly quickly spiral out of control I'm sure...

Well, this is easy.

Stowa Airman Original

I've emailed them to get on the waiting list, but the delivery times are expected to be around the end of 2009. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

This if money wasn't an option!

I've fallen for the JLC Master Reserve de Marche quite badly...

I *will* own an IWC Portuguese Automatic one day, so this one can go on the 'realistic' list

With a lottery win, an AP Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph would have to figure I reckon

And finally, a fantasy grail: Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar

Plenty of others figure but this will do for now smile

My main target is a Damasko DC67 followed by a nice pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Professional (part funded by the sale of my Speedie automatic)

There are plenty of others I'd not turn my nose up at, but funds are very unlikely to be available this year.

Before heading off to Canada in October this year I plan to have at least one of the following -

Omega Planet Ocean -

Sinn 203 Arktis -

Glycine Airman 17 -

As for a watch if money was no object, then I have no idea at the moment, but would have a wonderful time in Burlington Arcade and that area of London

I still have a hankering for one of these:-

Doesn't shout at you and has class. Quite rare too.
