Never had a D&G watch before, I've got a nice Tag and more recently a Rolex GMT 11c.

However, I play sport, go places where sometimes these watches arent appropriate.

£30 I picked this up for this morning. I quite like it! biggrin

I know, very brave, looking at the picture though, really doesnt do it much justice.

I have a nice couple of watches which I thought might calm some of the ridicule down...

It actually looks ok!

Honest question, if you just wanted a watch for knocking about in and playing sport why didn't you just buy a G-shock Mudman?

You could easily get one for that money and it would last FAR longer than your present choice as it is kinda built for purpose.

I would also go out on a limb and say it has more "Kudos" than the D&G too wink

'Kudos' was a polite way of putting it I think wink

Not really a sports watch but mind you, I wouldn't give two stuffs if I broke it so I suppose it's fit for the purpose you chose in that way.

G-Shocks may have more Kudos - but they are seriously butt ugly - i'd never own one ever ever ever ever.

Thats the GW-9000 "Mudman". Tough as a tough thing but very light and very comfortable.

I can't remember the exact number of the green model but easy to find in most high streets and online. They also sell the same style in Light beige, Black, Camo green, Solar/Atomic black (with built in lap timer function) and if you can find it Red.

Try www.tiktox.com as he is usually much cheaper than the highstreet(not connected but a very good source for G's in the UK).
