Hi all

I’m after a cheap-ish watch to wear for doing outdoors type of stuff. I used to have an H3 for this, but have managed to break it. I’ve been looking at this Seiko (SKX013K1) as it looks hard-wearing and the right sort of size.

So, any good? Any other options that are better for about £150?

Thanks
Tam

Very good, yes. Any of the Seiko divers in that price range. You should be able to get something for about £100.

What about a G-shock?

Can get a G-shock "tough solar" for around £100.

I think the G-Shock will be too big for me and, although I know they're very good, they seem a bit plasticy for regular use </sorry>

As much as I like that Seiko you will break it before you break a G-Shock. They are far tougher than you give them credit for and on the list of NASA approved time pieces (and NASA tests are pretty extreme to say the least).

Can get metal G-shocks now and circular, not rectangular...
