Please can I ask for recommended retailers who give discounts. I am looking to buy a planet ocean in the next week or 2, but my local watch dealer who is selling it for £2000 has only offered me a 10% discount. They have also told me to be quick deciding as they say Omega are increasing there prices by 10% very soon.
I feel this has been mentioned to maybe ake me jump in & take their offer & pay £1800.

What do you experts think? Is it a good price ?

Thanks for your help.

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Thats strange. It was goldsmiths in Leeds I went into. The lady told me the omega planet ocean should cost £2000 & offered me 10% discount taking it to £1800.

Thanks, although they all look to be second hand. I'm only interested in a brand new un owned one.

I've just seen online a brand new PO advertised for £1560. Have any of you heard or dealt with this company before? the branded watch company

Is it real or do you guys think its a fake? If ts real it seems a good price.

Omega prices have gone up - again!!

Though I've noticed that some of the larger chains seemed to hold off on putting it through.

You should be able to do better than 10% - 14% to 16% is possible.

Try Berry's on Albion Street or John Dyson - both willing to do a deal in my personal experience.

Purchased my last couple of watches (Omega & Zenith) from Owen & Robinson, 33 Bond Street, Leeds LS1 5BQ. Very helpful and i'm sure you'll be able to realise 15-20% off Omega. wink

Good luck with your purchase.

Thanks for your help guys I managed to get a po (black face, black bezel) today & managed to get it withing my budget, so I'm chuffed to bits.

I got the stainless steel strap although would like to ask anyone where the best place is to buy the rubber staps from as it might be nice to switch the strap for beach holidays etc.

Are the rubber straps about £100?

Thanks to you all for your help.

Great, thanks very much for that, hey look great. Are the omega planet ocean ones 22mm. Do you know if you need special equipment for omegas to switch from the stainless steel strap to the rubber watchworx one?

I don't know but just looked at their website and they're only down the road from me, so i'm gonna take a look tomorrow.

They are offering a brand new Black Quartz full size Omega Seamaster for
865 GBP which is the cheapest I've seen !!

Will let you know what I think.
