Rolex Explorer II

Just been on the Rolex website and they only show a white face Explorer II now, does this mean they have stopped the black face ? and if so WHY ?

If you get an Ex II, be prepared to keep resetting it. Despite 2 services by an AD, mine needs resetting once a week. I wouldn't even call this a tool watch, as it's so poor at keeping time.

Already have one, black face, but was seeing if they had changed anything on the model as they have on the Yachtmaster etc..
I have not had any problems with mine and wear it for 2-3 wks then leave it off.

Nope, the 16570 Explorer II is still (as always) available with a white or black dial option. Rolex show a presentation of the range on the site, without showing every dial option.

When i looked at the spec summary on the site it only listed white a dial option.

The details shown on the Rolex website show the specifications of the watch shown, it doesn't offer a list of possible dials. The same for the 116520 Cosmograph Daytona (available in black or white), the 16613 Submariner-Date (black,blue,silver or champagne diamond)and so on. The options on the Professional series are quite limited. But when you consider the Datejust range, the list is much bigger.
