JLC - What do we have here?
Discussion
A box.

With a JLC Reverso Duo placed inside

It has a clear white face

But if we switch it over...

...it has a darker face that will show another time zone (but set as normal right now)

a close up...

Here it is with my fiance's Duetto

...and the other faces

..and here's how our modest collection is progressing.

The best bit is? This is my wedding present from my fiance. The worst bit? We don't get married for another two weeks and I can't wear it until then
. Her wedding present? Another JLC

(haven't bought it yet).

(haven't bought it yet).Cheers Stuart - the Rolex was an engagement gift from her as well. She has great taste in watches and has completely caught the bug - there is a downside of course... it's costing us a fortune!
It was her idea for me to get the Reverso (and one I completely warmed to after trying it on). She loves her's and wanted to get me one as it is such a unique watch.
I wish the images would do it justice - it looks very 'gold' but is pink/rose gold and far more understated than the pics show.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps - as with any of the nice watches, you really need to handle it to appreciate it fully.
Case size is 26mm x 42mm and fits perfectly. All of the larger sized Reversos looked too chunky and as I wanted something that could be used as a dress watch, it would have defeated the object.
Why the Duo? Firstly, lots of the other models with the same size case only have one working face - either a blank back to be engraved or crystal to veiw the movement. I wanted to take advantage of the technology and have two working faces. For any of the multi functional complications, it starts to get very expensive when you start to factor in that I specifically wanted a rose gold piece. Also, often they would have similar looking faces on each side.
I'm extremely happy with it - very much two watches in one and both faces are extremly elegant. I can't fault the finish and build quality. Me being me, I went over it with a loupe and couldn't find anything to be unhappy with. It has a nice weight to it and the reveso mechanism works with a satisfying click, a nice smooth transition and the tolerances are extremely fine. Can't wait to wear it properly.

Ah, so the Duo won in the end then (the missus strikes again!!).
Lovely watch.
Yeah - it did. Have to say that while I liked a few of the others (round face jobbies), the Reverso stood out, head & shoulders above the others.Lovely watch.
Very happy - just going to have to wait a few more weeks to wear it.

Only 53 or so weeks to your 1st wedding anniversary....;)

The Lange is a long way off.
The Lange 1 is stunning but very similar to the GO Pano range in design and the one I love is the Dato but that is a serious watch in both quality and cost.
I was offered a Lange 1 last week, 6 months old, at a pretty serious discount. The Lange 1 is stunning but very similar to the GO Pano range in design and the one I love is the Dato but that is a serious watch in both quality and cost.
To be honest, it was a tiny bit too small. Now the Lange 31
