Gents,

I have just ordered one of these from the Far East (wanted the Japanese made version that you can't get in the UK, SKX007J). Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get a good quality oyster strap from?

I want a strap just like this.....thanks in advance..

I'm not sure that is a SKX007 as they have round hour markers not square. Looks like a SKX171/173.

These watches look fantastic with the Seiko rubber straps!

They dont keep great time though, at least, mine doesn't. Try and find the SKX007J it will have 21 jewels written in white under the water resistant lettering. Slightly more money but a better movement I believe!

I just recently set my Seiko Monster to the same time as my Sinn. I compared them today out of curiosity and the Monster had gained a couple mintues.

Norty. Shame you're not a real shop. I don't do ebay.

ETA: Thanks mods, now I look like a buffoon with a completely out of place post.

ETA2: Ok, ok, MORE of a buffoon.

Got the watch, only three days from Hong Kong and no customs charges. Brilliant. Got the oyster strap too but don't like it, doesn't seem that great quality despite being a genuine Seiko bracelet, will put it on a nato strap.....
