I have owned a Bremont watch for a few months and love it.

Only issue I have had is with the strap and deployment clasp.

Last Thursday I e mailed bremont customer services and received a reply in about 20 minutes.

The problems I noted had been raised by a few people and a new strap design had been made that utilises a tang and buckle whilst a new deployment is designed. If I sent them my address they would send me one.

New, improved strap arrived in Monday's post

We are all quick to complain on here, so I thought I would post up a bit of positive news!

I have to say that I've had similar good service from Stowa. Not with a specific problem as such (the watch is perfect), just that all their communication is friendly, helpful and informative. They were an absolute pleasure to buy from, so I'll do so again as a result. A little bit of good customer service goes a long way.

While I'm there, Dominic H is similarly great to deal with. thumbup

Much better than Rolex TBH.

18 weeks it took to have my sub serviced and the glass replaced, and still charged near on £400 for the privilege. irked

My day-date is due for service soon, another wallet lightning will no doubt ensue.

Much better then Seiko.

I bought a £100 automatic divers watch for my wife that was gaining 15mins a day from when she got hold of it. Under warranty I took it into a high street store (bought over the net from the States, but came with an international warranty). I dropped it in to them on the 6th of July 2008. Finally got it back on the 8th of February 2009!! In the mean time, they replaced the movement, damaged the original plus one replacement case and tried to threaten me that if I pushed them too hard to get it fixed quicker they'd send it back as it was. All this because I bought from abroad. They could have been quicker (and cheaper) by just sourcing and sending me a replacement watch.

I had a problem with my Black Monster. Sent to Seiko myself, all repaired and back to me within seven days, five working.

Worldwide warranty worked well. Although mine is a UK one.
