Anyone on here a TZUK member?
Discussion
Hi!
Is there a contact email for TZUK? I tried to become a member but it says that creating a new account is not possible at the moment.
I'd like to write to a mod if possible to see if I can sign up, there is a particularly nice watch on there at the moment and I'd like to know more!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can sort me out with an email address.

Yes, I am a member.
Eddie closed the forum to new members a few weeks ago due to the sheer number of spammers trying to join. He re-opened it a few days ago, but had to close it again for the same reason.
I don't think he will open it up again for a while. There aren't any moderators on TZ-UK. It is self policing, with Eddie exercising the right to delete users occasionally. He is a one man band.
Email me through this site and I will see if I can help you with the watch you are interested in.

I suspect any requests will get the infamous Eddie "No",
Pete
Why does he do that?Pete
If you mean why has "No" become his trademark, then it's probably because he is a straight talking Yorkshireman, who gets asked lots of questions on the forum about what watch he is planning next, can someone have variation X, can he say when it will be available etc. I am sure it is just simplest to say "No", rather than give a full explanation.
I have a lot of respect for the man - he produces excellent watches, at a great price. I have bought 5 of his watches, and have been happy with all of them.

It just comes over as unecessarily rude.
