I was perusing Fleabay and came across this informative picture. It certainly shows just how big this watch is!

Interesting. I've never particularly thought of the BM as big. I wear it as my "little" watch.

Here's mine, with my C8 and PO for comparison:

I think that the perception of the size of this watch being a bit smaller is because the dial is tiny in comparison to the bulk of the case.

FYI, I just bought a black Monster last week and it should arrive on Monday. Very exciting...

Yeah. I logged on to Fleabay yesterday and saw a blue monster at £400. The phone rang and before I had a chance to return it was sold. Lost it for 5 minutes.furious

It doesn't wear as big as the raw numbers suggest. I have pretty stick-like arms and watch size is a big deal to me (and also good for my accounts, since the recent fashion for 42+ mm watches pretty much cuts them all out of the game for me). For example, I was dead set on buying an IWC doppelchronograph (for the complication - wasn't interested in the normal IWC pilot chrono - if you're going to hack about a 7750 then you may as well do it properly, heh) but had to stick the card back in my wallet when I tried it on and found it wore *far* too big. And the IWC doppel is 'only' 42mm, according to IWC.

However I also have an orange Monster, which I can quite happily wear without it 'feeling' far too large. It's a chunky watch, for sure, but the headline number is on a diagonal between 10 and 4 o-clock and this make a big difference compared to if the crown was at 3. Also the bracelet is sturdy but low profile enough to work on slim wrists (it hinges back directly from the watch, rather then poking horizontally out and making the watch appear larger, as per the IWC aquatimer chrono, for example).

That website was linked in another thread. Seems to be a genuine guy!

Works out at around £262 + taxes.

I think they are Japenese market only, so finding one in this country could be a bit tricky. Still worth checking the usual watch forums, though.

There was a chap selling them on Fleabay but I haven't seen him advertise for a while. Keep your eye out there though. He was selling at about £140
