Hi,
I'm after a 'classic' Rolex and fancy a slightly tacky one.
Can anyone offer me any advice for/against this one which seems a fair price despite the changed dial ?:

Or how about : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...
Thanks

I hope you realise that the dials on those Rolex are after market dials. It would be difficult to gain a proper valuation for such a watch.
Further, if you intend to service your watch through Rolex UK, they will decline unless the watch is returned to the original and you will be charged extra for this privilege.
I would stay away from after market add ons as they do not appreciate in value, if anything, it devalues the watch.
Find a proper one with a factory fitted dial and ensure you get the proper Rolex certificate confirming this too.
Good luck
