Guys, I had hoped to buy another watch but funds are tigher than expected at the minute so cannot buy what I wanted. However Mrs GMan has asked what I want as an Easter gift and it got me thinking of some of the watches I hear mentioned on here. Any way:

I currently have a Tag 2000(21st Birthday present many years ago), Panerai Luminor Base and last year I bought a Rolex Submariner Date as an anniversary present for myself (I had just bought Mrs GMan a Rolex datejust so I had to treat myself) from watches.co.uk.

I fancy something to add to this small colection for about £150 and I have seen the following:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

http://www.facewest.co.uk/Suunto-Vector.html (I like the black negative).

Anything else to consider? I like the idea of an all black watch to be honest, so the Seiko is not high up on the list.

One thing to add, I would prefer new so I can tell Mrs GMan where I have seen it etc.. so she can just buy it online with her card details if that makes sense?

Those seem like two very different watches?

If you're going to be making use of all the features on the Suunto, then that's probably the one to go for.

If you just want something to tell the time, then the Seiko should fit the bill fine.

I prefer the other Seiko divers over the Monster; SKX007 or SKX009 with a black bezel, for instance.

Actually, this one might fit the bill.

Ha Ha Ha.

Unfortunately my wife is a victim of the times.

When I was younger Easter was an egg and a family meal together. To my wife it’s a case of cards for everyone, presents for everyone and all the other st that is written in whatever ridiculous magazine she is reading at the time. I should complain, but I take full advantage of it and usually get something I want out of it!!
