Good morning gentleman,

I have a significant birthday coming up soon and I am going to buy a watch to mark the occasion (it also seems like a great excuse too biggrin) I have been looking around for sometime now and I have made up my mind on what i would like.
The problem is that the watch that i specifically want is second hand, I am fine with this although my parents are a little cautious.
What should i be looking out for?

I intend to fly to Sweden to meet the seller at the AD for the watch brand and have the watch checked to ensure that it is genuine. How reliable are high end automatic watches?

Thanks
