Just seen this on eBay. An ifo from the PH massive? looks quite nice but being new to watches I could use some advice.

MRRP £335? rofl

It's probably one of those watches advertised in Hello and the Sunday red tops. At the buy it now price, if you like it, then go for it. That said, the quality may be disappointing, so you'd be better off shopping at Werners. No, I don't work for them but you'd think I did. nuts

Yup, might aswell ignore the mrrp.

Both look like they are trying too hard to be classy/expensive watches. Both fail spectacularly.

Far better of with something from Werners, Seiko, Tissot etc.

They even have the gall to classify some models as Chronometer. No way they'll even be close to COSC (unless that movement's hiding a battery in there somewhere..). I would avoid these like the plague.

The site isn't really up and running - just a front. Then I find this:-

Cheap Russian tat it would seem. Buy now, regret later.

I purchased a watch from an auction a few years ago, it had an rrp of 995 and i paid £50. It said it was a chronometer, not bad for a cheap quartz watch! The chrome finish wore off etc

Not bad considering i was 10!

Cheers for the replies. As I am new to the whole watch game but I like the idea of a nice watch can anyone point me in the direction of wher I can learn the basics?
