Anyone know what it is?

On the back in between two of the holes used to grip when opening the back is a circle with the Omega logo inside, there's also a load of other squiggles in the circle.

Is it some form of authentication symbol? I don't have a magnifiying glass, the squiggle could be a globe of some form, it looks like there's a 2nd Omega logo too as if it were a ball with Omega logos printed on.

I thought it was a blemish when I bought my Seamaster. Its something like a globe with Omega symbols in it. My Speedmaster also has one. AFAIK all modern Omegas have them.

Its the Logo in a circle with a little star and a line running through it?

Its a 'new' anti counterfit measure according to Omega - though I'm sure its not hard to replicate???

I think the idea is it;s cut into the metal rather then stamped, if you look how sharp the edges are, i suspect it's too complex to stamp and keep the sharpness
