Budget and any style?

My missus has a couple of JLCs that she loves and recently got her the ladies 'James Bond' Omega Seamaster that she thinks is rather cool.

JLC Reverso Dueto - she likes it because it is nice and discreet for normal wearing and then can be fliped over for something a little more dressy.

JLC Ideale - similar to this but with a dark grey face - more for dressier occasions

...and the ladies JB Seamaster which she knocks around in for day to day stuff.

I would recommend a JLC Reverso as mentioned above. Stunning.

Thanks for the replies guys...she actually has a nice evening watch very simular to the JLC ideale. This is an everyday watch im looking for and ive just had a text from one of her `shopping buddies` saying that she has pointed out a Tag heurer alter ego in the lanes in Brighton. Will investigate and report back type

Wait a sec. Which face is the discreet one? The one with the two rows of blinging diamonds or the one with the serif font numerals, minute markers and a square of tiny diamonds? biggrin

Haha - those are not diamonds just normal marks. It is discreet when you see it in the flesh - even the 'blingy' side isn't too bling.

Regardless, it is a stunning versatile watch that is very well made and was a great introduction for my wife into mechanical watches. Shame the other two are quartz really. At least the JLC Ideale is still an in house movement - don't know about the Seamaster.

For a woman surely it has to be a Cartier? A quartz one so that she doesn't have to set it if she doesn't wear it for a while (unless of course being mechanical matters to her).

Have managed to track down the Tag Heurer alter ego with mother of pearl face as a daily for her (minus the sparklies...her request) should be on her wrist at the weekend.

As it happends on my travels on the www i stumbled upon a rather nice ladies Cartier that `might` be purchased and tucked away for our wedding anniversary.
