New strap needed for a 1972 Olympic Longines Conquest...
Discussion
...as it says in the title, where's the best place to get one? The stitching has gone on mine and it has "delaminated" if that makes sense...I'd like the new strap to ideally let me put the existing "flying hourglass" buckle thingy back on. Don't want to pay silly money but I'd like something of decent quality.
The current strap is black leather, but I can't help thinking that a blue one, as per the photo below, really suits it. Thoughts??

I'd be tempted to go for a plain blue leather one. The face of the watch has some quite fine detail by the looks of it, and I think a highly patterned strap would be a little 'too much'.
There's a tiny snippet of one here.......
